I need to add some light transmisssion to a carbon fibre tube. Set of questions as follows;

What is the compressive strength of a 25mm CF tube along it’s axis?
What is the flexural strength of a 25mm CF tube?

Now the harder questions;

If I were to drill 0.5mm holes in a triangular pattern at 1.5mm equidistant spacings for a third of the diameter (ie in a “strip” down one side of the tube, how much strength would I lose?
