Hi ya,

I am an Aerospace Engineer working in a project, developing a electric super car and I am manufacturing car body panels using VARI process.

Recently I have came a cross some complecations with the  panels that I have manufatured. (Please see the attcahed photos)

As you can see, there is a mist like marks in the corners for this front hood reinforced panel. I used gel coat on the mold.

Does anyone have any idea why I am getting these marks.

and any advise will be appriceated.

Kind regards.

looks like bridging to me especially in those tight rads where the material has scrunched up as you can see its very tight together, the material needs to be pushed into all the corners under vacuum or see if you can get away with using strips of material in those areas and matching the twill direction on the other plies.
