Hi there first posting on here but have previously worked with preg preg and wet lay for over 10 years but have been out of the game for a bit,has any one got any good info or no of any good links on carbon fibre repair could be doing some race car repair work soon many thanks.

What kind of info are you after? Will you be replacing sections of bodypanels or repalcing and bonding.

Making repairs to damaged body work so I'm after various options really 

its going to be dependent on if you are going prepreg or wetlay repair, you can get away with a decent scarfed wet lay repair in most instances. Or otherwise fill the damage then take a splash mould of the repaired section and lay up a new tool repair splash, lay into it and cut and bond the repair section into the panel.

Do you have the mounds for them?

Will be a combination of event support test and race and factory based I believe.

If you are doing on the job repairs you want quick bonding stuff like wurth replast that cures in a couple of minutes. Prepreg work you will need a hot bonder ideally and snap cure resins.
