Hi!
I've now been using up a couple of kilograms of XCR Resin ... It really is an exceptional product to use!!
1. Its very much more predictable in the timing of the "tack" when doing skinning, than the old "coating resin"
2. at high temperatures an some humidity the XCR does not produce "Amine Blush" like the original Coating resin
(I did a direct comparison a few days ago, where my workshop was up to 26 deg. C. in midday and never dropped below 24)
3. When you hit the correct "tack" it keeps the CF cloth stuck on perfectly, even in tight concave corners.
4. It performs extremely well as a "clear coat" directly on brushed Aluminium (The Front-fork Bracket in the picture next to the mud-guards is clearcoated with one thick layer of XCR, then flattened and polished -- )

I just ordered an extra kg. of XCR .. To try it as a clear-coat on some bike-parts made in my second unimould --
More pictures will follow .. of more skinned parts for the old "Flying Brick" BMW K75 I'm working on for a friend .. "Die Gummikuh" as the Germans call it ..
"Sapere Aude"... Dare to KNOW!
