Well polyester is naturally UV resistant, so if it is laminated with polyester then UV should not impact on it very much at all. I would sort of hope that they have used an isophthalic polyester rather than an orthophthalic resin in a structural application like a seat, especially for that price.
In any case, doesn't sound unreasonable to me.

any link on those resins? as i dont think you polish any resin and uv not burn it. all resin not accept uv without clear coat surface to be protected

Negative, that is one of the benefits of polyester resin. It polishes exceptionally well, and is naturally UV stable.
As for links, Easy Composites stock them. Their IP2 infusion polyester is an isophthalic resin, and I believe their GP laminating polyester is an orthophthalic. Both are UV stable.

so you want to say people after overlay carbon parts they simply polish parts and dont need to waiste time clear coating?

If they are overlaying with polyester and only clear coating for UV protection, then sure.
Not sure what you want me to say, but polyester resin is UV stable without clear coating it, and I had a quick look at the Tillett seats and they look like good products. I can't say I understand where you are coming from.

Yeh well, air voids are another matter entirely.
And yes, epoxy is not UV stable, it will yellow in the sun. Polyester is UV stable, it should not yellow in the sun. However if you are using UV sensitive materials in the laminate (like Kevlar), then you would still need to clear coat with a coating that actually absorbs the UV radiation. Polyester may be UV stable itself, but unless it has a special additive in it then the radiation will still pass through to the laminate. This won't affect materials like carbon, but Kevlar will certainly degrade when exposed to UV.
