First attempt at airbrushing in 18 months and I was not any good back then!
The design is based on the rising sun and the Hayabusa GSX1300R logo, it covers up a multitude of carbon sins :|
It's not completely finished still have to outline the sun rays in black as you can see I have partially done the right one, then finish off the clear coat, but it's been a fun learning experience
I'm not sold on the grey text :\

Now you're talking! I'm all about custom touches like this, love it. Air brushing is something I have want to learn to do, I feel like I do everything the hard way by not knowing how to do it haha.
I sort of agree on the grey text, it sort of blends in a bit too much. Silver?

Thanks Hanaldo
I am going to try and practice a lot more, have found some decent youtube airbrush tutorial sites to learn from.
https://www.youtube.com/user/airbrushtutor/videos
Tried full silver text first but I found it popped out to much took the eye away to much if you know what I mean.
Was going for a subtle look some thing that does not really jump out as the car colour theme is black on black, was thinking more like the hayabusa logo and have lines hashing though it, maybe gentle silver lines going though the grey text similar to the logo above.

Finished off the black outline and all the clear coats, they look better on the car with all the rest of the carbon!
Just need to cut out some carbon rings on the CNC milling machine for the internal fitment of the lights and wiring, really pleased with the outcome, blends in quite well without standing out to much

Made 4 carbon fibre retaining rings bonded together for the new headlight bodies with my homemade CNC milling machine these really would have been a pain to make manually ...

Passenger side rear wheel arch mould is nearly complete, just need to finish of the edge, make the removable inner flange that is going to bolt onto the stainless steel support brace.
Start the mould making process, please sell some apple fresh smelling resin additive ...
Support brace for the inner return flange to fix onto.
Just need to finish welding up the support brace, fill up edges with fibre glass and gel coat, trim back and build an inner flange out of flouted board for the inner return part of the wheel arch.

New wing mirror bodies, first attempt at a CNC mould found a little issue with Fusion360 contour operation offsets, but other than that it turn out fine.
Input line slipped and sucked in some air bubbles, no damage done ...
This pair are done in some
Carbon Twaron
off cuts, going to make another set in pure carbon as I forgot how much of a pain the Twaron make sanding the edges.
Time to clear coat the pair
