ah, 1 quick question. how do you fix this kind of void to perfection? do i need to have another layer of laminating epoxy covering the surface or just enough with clear coats?

I would make 3 suggestions.
1 make sure your mold is very warm
2 make sure your resin is very warm
3 Do not let the infusion front go at full speed or it may skip over parts as I see in your picture.
open the feed line only enough to get the resin front moving at a slower feed which will allow the wetting process more time to fill every void.
