Hi, ive just recieved a roll of pro finish carbon from EC.
Beeing new to this im supprised how "loose" the carbon was, and this was the pro finish.
I expected to see some traces of resin as mentioned in the description of the product, but it looks to me like it is pure carbon fibre.
Can anyone have a look at the pictures and tell if i got the right product?

Im not looking for a refund or anything, just curious if this in fact is the pro finish fabric.

Also there was some pollution on the fabric, if thats the right word, small pieces of paper/carton between the layers.
Do you guys go over the fabric with a brush or anything before applying the resin?

Yes, even "pro-finish" is not completely "fixed" in the weave, it would be very difficult to use over any sort of curved surface if it was completely "locked" (It can be tricky over compound curves as it is)

"normal" 2/2 twill CF .. (The "bread'n butter stuff" ) is very loose, conforms ( & distorts) very easily..

I have on occasion "reinforced" the Pro-finish by spraying it with Cytec Aerofix 3 on the "misty" side .. when I wanted to absolutely sure that the edges did not fray (when making visible "cut-lines")
