Thanks for posting, really well put together and informative video.

can I ask why you use fg instead of all cf is it to keep costs down and why do you coat the mould with a gel coat as opposed to straight infusion,

are you laying the first layer of cf to a still tacky gel so using it like a glue or is it left to dry.

used the GC50 for UV protection so it doesn't need to be clearcoated at the end.
and was also good for a tack while positioning the carbon
The fiberglass was due to the fact I didn't had a 200g/m² cf at the moment Smile carbonfiber would ofcourse be better!

Awesome video! Well done and thank you. Quite a lot of work, I didn't realise the inner and outer layers were bagged separately but it makes sense. I agree with your sentiment regarding production of these for the market - guys would need to be willing to pay for it, but it is great that there is always something "next level" if you're willing to put in the efforts.

Cheers man, keep up the inspiring work.

Great video as always! makes me feel the need to tidy up my workshop and get some decent lightingWink

i'm going to try the GC50 in mould, as clear coating is making a lot of extra work. does it go on ok with a brush?

I feel your pain removing the soft flow mesh from the peel ply.

Have you used the bread wrap between the peel ply and mesh, it was a real eye opener for me, so much simpler to get apart.
