Hello,
We have been attempting to infuse carbon fiber fabric with some custom made vinyl ester resin visc aroung 400. We are all new to this so any advice would be appreciated.
The equip we r using for the infusion is:
-Vacuum pump 2.5cfm
-resin trap with gauge (paint sprayer can)
-bagging -

-release film perforated -

-flow media -

We are getting a consistent seal, no leaks pretty much every time we attempt. But we still get small pitting or pin holes consistently thru out the carbon fiber.
Thanks,
Don

You'll might find some good information.
Hard to tell whats going wrong on your part because there are so many factors who can cause a flaw in the system like
moist, vacuum, type of resin, micro leakes, type of fabric used, type of bag, type of flowmedia, speed of infusion, trapped air in infusion pot, ...
You would need to describe everything step by step in detail to possibly find your mistake
