Hi,

I got some problems with the Easy-Lease Mould Cleaner .

I want to make new molds from vinylester gelcoat and resin for infusing and maybe later prepreg .

Before I always made my moulds from normal gelcoat and polyester resin so I used only wax what never gave any problems .

But now with the vinylester products I had problems demolding the moulds from the normal polyester parts with normal wax  .

When I got the vinylester mould ready I infused some parts and it worked verry well no release problems with normal wax .

Now I wante dto make a new vinylester mould from a carbonfibre race parts and again the vinylester mould wouldn't release from the arnon fibre part .

So now I wanted to use the
Easy-Lease Chemical Release Agent

I used a new polyester part I pulled from a old mould of me , polished it to mirror finish and then I cleaned it with the Easy lease mould cleaner and then the looked like the pics.

When I use the mould cleaner on a unpolished part it looks fine and stays the same look .

Looks like you applied the chemical release agent too heavily so it left a residue. You really don't need much at all, barely enough to wet the surface. If you wipe it on and you can see it bead up or fish eye or anything like that then it's too heavy. You want to wipe it on, see it look slightly wet and then it should evaporate.
