Just made some wall panels for a shower enclosure (refused to pay £150 a panel plus fitting kit )

I have a 2.1m x 1.2m double glazed unit that I use for infusing flat sheet.

Sprayed down some white gelcoat, once tacked off I layed down one layer of resin rich 450grm CSM. Whilst still wet I placed a 2m x 1m sheet of 9mm MDF (scored the face with a Stanley knife to aid bonding) onto the wet CSM and weighted it down.

Once cured the sheet was demoulded and cut to size. Result one mirror finish wall panel.





Cost : materials £50 plus two hours labour.

What do women know about interior design??

If i had more time for carbon insanity I would probably go carbon max!

I reckon plausable stuff include:
Dining table - top infused with high temp resin to avoid coffee rings.
Coffee table - same as above
bog seat
shower tray and panels.
Bathtub
Kitchen cabinet doors. Dead easy using thick foam cored panel.
Simple furniture like bedside cabinets. Make up lots of foam cored sheet. Assemble like ikea flat pack furniture.

Not to bring it down too much, but "warm seat" syndrome may occur with this one!
