How to make a split mould for this spoiler? 2 piece, 3 piece?

This is exactly what I was meaning, unless you need the strength of the 3 sides id be trying to find a way to see if I can release like this. However looking at your drawing the 'point' were the release is is much more curved than I though and will create a mechanical lock if its accurate.

That's why i'm now leaning towards doing it in two separate pieces and bonding them together. it's going to be stronger and give a bigger mounting surface. also easier to lay up and release the parts. I haven't done anything quite like this before so any advice on lay up, trimming, bonding, etc would be much appreciated. Edited 11 Years Ago by Bonobo
