I'm getting parts 2gether to start making a sunroof bung for my car but I'm just struggling for what way to stack the materials because costs are low after buying all the equipment involed

I want the part to look oem as possible so I can have it attached to the mechanism if I choose or just use it as a bung.
Iv seen some people using
200g carbon then 3/4 layers of 200/300g woven glass would this be stiff enough like this?
If not what would be good enough amount if layers that's not 2 expensive?
The part is 20"x30" and there will be a front and back mould that will need bonding together.

Thanks for any help

I would go for 5 layers on this part.. Soric in the middle, then E-Glass, then outer layer of CF.  No print-through from the Soric, nice and stiff.  Edges made with either enough layers of CF to match the Soric, or CF tape.
