Hi all,

Just a quick one.
I infused some small items recently, approx 300mm x 150mm with:
650g 2 twil (mould surface)
3 layers of 200 unidirectional
Then top layer of 450 2
I then added peel ply and infusion mesh.

The top surface just about wetted out, but the mould surface didn’t wet at all.

Is there a particular problem I’m having or is there perhaps a way to slow the resin flow to allow it to saturate all layers?

Many thanks,

Bill

Its not easy on small parts though. You really need to both throttle the infusion speed, and have a decent size break zone.
