Hello,

I have a small question...I do not have access to  a good oven for out-of-autoclave pre-preg (at least not good enough that the cycles are accurate), but I do have access to a sterilizing autoclave...

Sorry for the naive questions, but is such an autoclave OK for pre-preg ? Do you need to keep a vacuum system when using an autoclave despite the fact that there is high pressure in the autoclave itself ? Is moisture a problem (or it's OK but the part must then be put in a protective bag) ? Can someone give me a link to an autoclave protocol (temperature, time, pressure) for the use of the pre-preg in such system ? I don't think there is much indicated on the easycomposite website on that.

Thank you !!

Get yourself one of the rodwell autoclaves you can buy or lease them. Ive used one a few times now for small cures, simple to use and ideal for the hobbysist up to the pro shop.
