I'm not great with infusion techniques as i use prepreg mainly, and that's the process I use to make matched tooling and parts that have a good surface finish on both sides.

Can you elaborate on what you are making? and why you have a requirement for both surfaces to be a gloss finish?

something like this tub or the plate both were perfectly surface finished on both sides, I am wondering if it can be accomplished by vacuum infusion and how?
In this video, a very thin release-film has been used for cosmetic appearance  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xm2Ezo70vFI
would it help in making large parts? or it would result in increased weight because of lacking peel-ply.
