Infusion resin in a split mold, two parts. Closed

Hi I am making a canoe, for this I am manufacturing the mold and I would like to do it in two parts, separated by keel split mold, I can make vacuum infusion or these type of molds do not work with infusion.

There are a couple of other ways to seal the mould too.

1) You can use silicone sealant.  I believe it needs to be RTV type so it doesn't bond the moulds together.

2) You can lay a strip of 3mm wax sheet round the flange when you take the mould.  Fill this with gum tape (careful not to stretch it so its under thickness) then align your bagging tape with the channel lines so that all the gum tape seals the mould.  I believe Handalo is the man that rocks this technique.
