Hi all!

Did a search but couldn't find any previous posts about it.
I'm looking for a high-temp resin that needs to be baked in an oven for cure, but I can't find any.
Anyone got a tip?
I want to be able to make a sort-of prepreg that will last för a while i a freezer, and even at room temp.
Also, where can I find completed vacuum-bags? I know I can make the with gumtape, but I would like purpose made bags with
zip-locks or similar. I've seen them being used on Youtube.

Thanks in advance.

There's a plethora of resins available, but it's pretty hard to recommend something without knowing your area...

As for the zip-lock vacuum bags, I presume you are talking about these:

They are storage bags for vacuum packing things like clothing and bedding. Most home department stores will sell them in various sizes, otherwise you can get them on eBay.

I need a resin for automotive parts. Roofrack, crates, boxes, air intakes and such.

Ah, my bad. No I live in Sweden. I usually buy from EC but they don't seem to carry bake-resin.

Is the EC high temp resin not sufficient? So you want something that won't have an initial cure at room temp?

The only one I have any experience with is a Hysol product, however I can't remember the specific product number. I'll have a look for you. Super expensive stuff though, possibly not what you're after. Not sure if you can get it in Sweden either.

Precisely! I want to be able to prep a fair amount and store it in sub0 temps.
But I can't find any heat activated resin.
If you (or anyone else) can find one at a reasonable cost it would be greatly appreciated.
By reasonable cost I mean something close to EC-prices.
Do you know why it is more expensive? Supply-demand? Type of customers or what?

Seriously, I have now searched for several days and I can find absolutely nothing.
Temp-cured epoxy can't be that rare!

Nobody with any ideas?
