Why do you need or want to make your own pre preg?
The stuff you can buy ready to go is all great, the manufacturers of it have serious equipment for impregnating the fibre so that it has just the right amount of resin.

If I get it right you need HT resin for making molds.
I would recommend you Axson Epolam 2031.I have made several moulds for prepreg and I had no problems.
I am curing prepreg on
120
ºC.

RE the prepreg: I'm not following what you want, just pick a high temp prepreg that has a 7+ day outlife (or whatever you need) - some even go up to 30 days.
If you want to make it yourself then pick a high viscosity resin with a long pot life and a high tg, Huntsman do a prepreg resin range. But consider the following:
If you're trying to save money then in reality just buy the stuff - by the time you've got the resin, fabric and backing layers plus factor in your time to make it - just buy it,
If you're doing it to prove to yourself you can and want to experiment then carry on and please post the results up

Our Very High Temperature Epoxy resin WILL cure at room temperature so is NOT really suitable for use when making DIY pre-pregs. It can cure at room temperature within 48 hours so you would have a very short outlife if you used it to make a form of pre-preg.
Also it may well be damaged during the freezing process and once at room temperature would just be a runny resin again.

I checked the site, couldn't work out which ones where temp-curing?
Perhaps the EC staff could shed some light on this?

Seriously, I have now searched for several days and I can find absolutely nothing.
Temp-cured epoxy can't be that rare!
Nobody with any ideas?
