KTM parts - mold making and advice please

Group: Forum Members Posts: 9, Visits: 45	Hi there, New to the forum so good day to everyone. I want to eventually convert all my plastics (fairings) to CF and having to wet lay as I will go to vacuum bagging at some point in the future. I want to start with simple molds first but a few have flanges/ mounting points behind the plastics. What's the best way to do this? Been watching vids on here and pootube. If I can upload an image will do so asap. Until then many thanks. Jay

Group: Forum Members Posts: 52, Visits: 559	No worries. I picked up some glass, epoxy gel coat, sheet wax, fibre glass and modelling putty the other day to get started on a mould for my clutch cover. I've just got to get to the garage and do it now. If you're in Europe look at the EC site for sheet wax - prices seem good compared to what we have here. Edited 10 Years Ago by redeye
