I'm new to all of this, and I want to make parts in my engine in carbon fiber, my fuse box cover, radiator cover etc. I've seen most of the post people using the vaccum infusion. 

If it helps I stuck with vac bagging for a loooong time.  I didn't see the point of infusion when I could make perfectly adequate parts with a bag.  I tried it and now I would infuse through choice.  It is that good!
