Make double sure your preparation and keying of the surfaces is spot on. Roll wrapped tubes are made around a heavily release coated mandrel and wrapped in release coated shrink tape, so you end up with release agents all over the surfaces of the tube, so any areas not properly keyed simply will not bond with the adhesive.
