A few months back I made some cycle wings with red gelcoat edges for a customer with a Westfield sportscar. I have just completed a dashboard using the same technique. They are done using pigmented GC50 sprayed into the mould before infusion. It has taken some experimentation to get the timing right. Remove the masking tape too soon and you loose the crisp edge of the line, leave it too long and the gelcoat will lift from the mould when you remove the masking tape.
