I have the opportunity to buy a vacuum pump that was originally used in an ambulance for clinical uses. The seller is selling it used for $30 whereas a brand new pump of this model would cost $280. The only issue is that this pump can only reach a pressure of 550mmHg (21.6 inHg). I know that a perfect vacuum is just under 30 inHg which means that this pump would only be able to pull a 73% vacuum. I've never done a resin infusion and am wondering if this pump will do.
