Does easy lease have a shelf life?

I am having all sorts of problems getting your infusion resin to release from your uni-mould product.

I have lost several moulds and plugs now, and can only put it down to the release agent.
I bought the current batch of easy lease from you over a year ago now, does it lose its effectiveness?

Pretty sure Easy- Lease is Hygroscopic so it will absorb moisture from the surrounding area (once open to the atmosphere) I would think any moisture absorbed will have an adverse effect on the Easy-Lease. I always put the cap on between applications and then put the tin in the re-sealable bag that it came in from EC at the end of the day.
I am sure someone from EC will give a much better answer shortly.

Warren is right. The recommended shelf life is 1 year in a sealed container.

If you havent used the lid as much then it will soak up moisture and degrade.

Also if youve been using it in the recent hot weather you will find it evaporates off silly fast at anything near 30C let alone over it. I had a sticker last year in the heat wave and was working around 30C and it was evaporating off as fast as i put it on, so even with what i though was 5 coats it was quite possible to have a few patches that were a bit ropey and enough to stick.

Just ordered some replacement easy lease and it works perfectly.

Has been expensive though for me in lost parts and moulds over the last few weeks trying to figure this out and realise that the release agent was the problem.

It would have been nice if the fact that this product has a shelf life was mentioned at least somewhere, either on the packaging or in the item listing on your website.
