Top Part method : infusion reinforcement : 1 layer cf + soric 2mm + another layer 200 gm cf lower part method : wet layup reinforcement : 1 layer of 300g csm + 1 layer 200g plain weave fiberglass( bolted area and hinge area being reinforced with more fabrics) hinge is made by bending a metal rod. bolted area i used pop nut rivet. original weight : 15kg After weight : 6.5kg Problems occur - soric pattern is imprint through. when first clear coat applied, can see diamond shape of soric.
