I used a spiral feed pipe for my infusions and it is easy to join two or more lengths. It is reasonably cheap to buy.

I would infuse from the full left side to the full right side. Remember the liquid always takes the easiest path, the vacuum area. It will not push on the resin if it has an easier path to take. So even if it reaches the vacuum side on the shortest leg it will be easier to continue through the area still dry and in vacuum. I personally do not like to feed from the middle because it leaves marks where the feed line was sitting.

Wozza, am I going to waste a ton of resin when it reaches the left across the middle where the distance is shortest, while I wait for the infusion to reach vac from the top/bottom right?

I would have the resin feed in the middle of the right hand side with the spiral running the full length and the vac outlet in the middle of the left side (so directly opposite) If you have the resin feed in the middle of the part you can get print through on the "seen side" of the part where the resin was fed in.

I always infuse from the center and pull vacuum all around the mold. 

I've come to infuse a part with a shape that's not as straightforward as the rectangular parts I've made so far - looking for suggestions on how to set up (It's pretty flat,  this is the view from top)
was thinking of feeding from the right side, and pulling vacuum from the upper 2/3's on the left... Or am I better off center feeding the resin?
