I thought Id have a go at doing a V weave with resin infusion... wasnt easy but made was pleased with the end result.
Original weighed 21kgs with lights (lights weigh 1kgs) and mine is under 8kgs so very good weight saving.
I also backed the wheel arches in kevlar as well as soric so should be resistant to start crazing.
got a coat of lacquer on the clip last night... needs flatting and a couple more coats but looks miles better already... top 2 pics are laquered, bothom ones are straight out of mould with flash lines and release agents etc.
and here is a pic of what I did with the car on monday
