I have used elastifilm in resin infusion and it works very well, the problem with it is it sticks to the laminate after so you have to use a peel ply or release film. Where as normal vac bag peels off.

From what I have read it is not ideal for resin infusion, due to its highly elastic nature it fills the cells of the flow media, thus inhibiting resin flow.

Hi,
From what I understand Elastifilm is only intended for prepreg layups and/or as a replaceable membrane on a vac table. So I would say that the answer to your question is yes, it can be used for prepreg...
