I need to use v weave on the bonnet and bumper for the project but the bumper is going to need material wider than 1500mm/59''. EC only do it to 1500mm wide and to whatever length you require. Can anyone recommend any other companies that can supply v weave fabric wide enough for this project of mine? The material will need to be roughly 2300mm to fit the bumper.

Just use normal 2x2 twill and with decent shears and a bit of spraytack down the cut line. Then do a very smalloverlap or butt joint. As you are skinning it you should be able to pre wet the material and get it to stay where you need it?

Group: Forum Members Posts: 2.5K, Visits: 28K	Yeh nobody is going to do 2.5m wide v-weave by the metre, you would have to special order that and buy it in BULK. Easier to just buy regular twill and do as Scott suggests.
