     EBay or Amazon both have incredibly cheap rotary vane pumps. They work well for basic hobbyist composite work.

     Yeh have a look for the vacuum pumps that are used to service air conditioning systems. These will work fine and can be found very cheap.

                     To be fair, thus is an oil bath system, and the one from ec is a oil cycle construction. Bathed systems will always "smoke" a little oil vapour wich will settle all around the pump. If you do this on...
