Hi folks, My boat mast which sits on the deck had very unsightly bits of rubber around it to fill the gap between the mast and the collar. See pictures.
This time around I am considering pouring some XenCast PX90 into the gap  when the mast is stepped, having first applied PVA to the mast and the collar.
Do you think this is the best course of action or is there a better / other product I could use?
Thanks,
Micheal

The only problem with the PX90 is it is not 100% UV stable so if exposed to direct sunlight all the time it would eventually degrade. If it is between the collar and mast and effectively protected then this might not be an issue.

Thanks Warren,
I was aware of that and would propose to cover the top of it.My concern is how do I make sure the PX90 will not adhere to the mast to allow for easy removal of the mast in the future, |Is PVA the answer there or do I even need it?
Thanks

PVA mould release would certainly help, as would any release agent.
