It says it in the title... it's just a tinted clearcoat on top of the laminate!

Do not imagine it could be that simple, here in South America I never saw tinted clearcoat.

Hence why they call it 'bespoke'... Tinted clears are quite common in the show car industry. House of Kolor are famous for it.

To those in the paint industry, nothing special. It will just be a colour uniquely blended to their specification rather than an off the shelf coded colour.

You dont tint the lacquer as such you dust with your base colour then clear coat over top Was doing this 25+ years ago on max power cars

Unlikely to bewhat this is. Tinted clear coats are very common, it's how candy paints are made. It's quite simply translucsent pigments mixed into a clear coat system. Traditionally you would spray....

Agree with Rob here - there's definitely a candy with a clear on top. The surface needs to be able to be cut and buffed in the future. Cutting and buffing a tinted clear only will change the color as...

... That's exactly what I am saying? It isn't a base coat dusted on, it's a candy - a tinted clear. Just because you flow coat over the top of that with an untinted clear doesn't make the first layer...
