Question:

The car is made entirely of carbon fiber and received a finish to keep this color, how is this process done?

... That's exactly what I am saying? It isn't a base coat dusted on, it's a candy - a tinted clear. Just because you flow coat over the top of that with an untinted clear doesn't make the first layer of clear a base coat, it is still a clear coat.

In any case, we're on the same page, just reading the book in different languages 😅
