Hi, Warren and Scottracing, Thanks for reaching out. I have a hands-on experience of Epoxy/VE/BMI. Others include acrylate and cyanate ester. It is nice to meet you guys here and gain deeper understanding of  these resins.

Im getting a lot more requests at work for suitable bio - sustainable resin systems. Especially the automotive guys, weve used bio based epoxies but we are looking for something more useful for recycling at the end of life of the vehicle.

This is a very interesting topic. I have some questions regarding this:
1) as to the mentioned biobased epoxies, are they biobased backbone structured epoxies or just using biobased toughener?
2) what is the life span for these vehicles?
3) have you tried biobased VEs, are they more promising in this application compared to biobased epoxies?

2) what is the life span for these vehicles? they are niche vehicles and deemed not to be scrapped, but realistically 30 years max
3) have you tried biobased VEs, are they more promising in this application compared to biobased epoxies? no not yet, but i will speak to our team here!
