It would unlikely work very well.  For a start the adhesive film is supported by a thin glass netting which would "haze" the look of the carbon fibre.

Maybe a clear inmould coating could fulfil  your needs.

I feel like he is wanting a clear coat to increase the 'depth' of the finish rather than the 'thickness' of the part???

Why do you want to increase its thickness? Why not simply use a heavier cloth?

XC110 if cured and used properly does not need an additional layer of resin on the surface to get a good cosmetic result.  The XA130 film adhesive we do sell is designed for making honeycomb and cored sheet.

Im using XC110 and looking for the clear film as the top coat to increase it's thickness,
But I did not see it on easycomposite,please help to advise .
