Hi, I poured a glass cast 3 cover onto my penny floor yesterday.  The Resin is already touch dry but there are a number of bubbles that are embedded in the resin, some below the surface some at the surface. I followed the mix by weight instructions and was expecting the bubbles to go by themselves as per the video. What can I do now to get the glass cast look that I need?

The vast majority of bubbles would normally come out by themselves with only the odd very tiny ones that can only be seen close up remaining.   However we have noticed in this hot weather, the resins are going off much quicker because of high ambient temperatures and also higher floor temperatures - especially the case in conservatories or anywhere exposed to any sun (you get the opposite issue in winter - too cold floors).   This means it is possible that some of the bubbles are not escaping before the resins much quicker curing time.

If they are very small and as you say, mostly on surface, then you can usually sand them out then polish up with no issues. Deeper ones again need sanding out but need filling back in with resin.  You can either fill in, then sand smooth and blend in and polish or if there is a few, its usually quicker and easier to skim another mm or so over the whole floor so you don't have to work on blending in multiple patches.

Thanks Warren, So I think I'm going to sand out the bubbles and skim the entire floor again.  What do you recommend I use to sand them out...wet and dry paper?  Also once sanded, and hoovered to remove dust and debris, do I need to do anything else before I reskim? Thanks again for your support its much appreciated.

120 grit sand paper dry will be fine to sand out the bubbles.  Before you pour again, just make sure the whole surface has a good key and you should be ready to go.
