any updates on the new video

Any news on part 2 of the video?

Hi Guys,

We filmed the trim and bonding of the final part yesterday, we just have the polish and finishing touches to do and the whole series will be 'in the can' the edit down should only take a few days so I would expect that the full series will be going live in less than a week, trust us it'll be worth the wait! 

Any requests for what video we shoot next?

Well, as you asked what we would like to see, here's my suggestion:

A part made of prepreg. Maybe the same part using both kind of prepregs you sell (EasyPreg and the "regular") to exhibit pros and cons of each style. Explaining how to work it properly to conform to the mold, fixing eventual pinholes, etc etc.

Anyway thanks for taking the time of making a video serie on the hood. Cheers from Belgium.

Hi Folks,

Here's a sneak peak of part 2:


I need to re-upload part one because I've just realised that the 'sneak preview' of that doesn't run to the proper end of part one so I'll get that done. We've filmed everything now exept bonding the hinges in so I'll be able to upload final versions of Part 1 (making the moulds), Part 2 (making the inner skin and outer skin) and then Part 3 (trimming, inserts, bonding, polishing) in the next few days.

It's turned out to be a pretty heavy tutorial (about 50mins run time) but if I can't but but think that anything that we leave out just leaves us open to poeple asking the questions and missunderstanding the process.

Nice graphics at the start!!

I loose sound for a minute or so at 4:20.  Again at 15:00 for 10 seconds.  tried reloading it but still the same.

Also you sped up the infusion.  How long was it in real life?  Might be useful to edit the commentry to mention it to reassure people they are doing it right if it seems like its taking a while for them.
