Hi !
I wanted to ask a question about the  new degassing system compared to the olds one you were selling at Easy Composites (i had the system with the big pump).
I bought the old one at Easy Composites in 2015 (the one with the big pump)
Is the new lid (with the handle) compatible wirth the ancient system ? Does the new chamber have the same size as the old one ?
Thanks !

The body of the chamber is the same size so if you need a replacement lid from us, it will fit the chamber you have.

Great, thanks ! I don't need a replacement right now, but it's good to know. I'm happy it's compatible, that leaves an option in case.
Can i glue a handle without harming the lid ? If yes, what glue (Cyano, epoxy, neoprene ?)

We use a specialist tape adhesive for the handles as it is more reliable than liquid adhesives.

Do you sell this adhesive ? A new lid is around 50£, a handle would be great for me and if i can save money...

It's not something we have for sale as it is used in production of the chambers cut off a roll as needed.

However if you wanted a handle, we can sell you a handle with the tape pre-attached.  You would then need to just clean the surface and apply the handle. If you would like me to set this up for you, then email me on technical@easycomposites.co.uk with your details and I can get things moving for you.

Yes, that would be great !
Could you tell me how much it would be ?
By the way, are there any cleaning products that should not be used to clean my lid ? i use essence F (sorry don't know the name in english) to clean silicone and don't know how resin stains can be cleaned. (as there was no handle it's stained)
Thanks Warren !

The cost for the handle is £7.80 ex VAT. plus delivery to where ever you are in the world.

IPA is fine on the acrylic lid.  Avoid thinners as they can dissolve the plastic.

Ok for the handle, thank you. Will send you an email.
Sorry, could you tell me what's IPA (I don't know the name in french)
I use white gas to clean silicone stains,  i have just checked on wikipedia, it says it does not attack plastics. Would you recommend it too ?
