How big is your part and what's it constructed of?

short answer is yes, but as above it will depend on where you are and what the part size and application is.

Thanks for the replies. Here's a picture of the part, it goes under the trunk deck lid, probably 3.5' X 2.5'. I'm in San Antonio TX

whats it made of? is it a fibrous material as it may be difficult to take a mould from that without sealing it properly

Hi Scott, yes it is fibrous which is why I don't even want to attempt it. I've heard of people putting cellophane or a similar material over it but then you "hear" lot's of things that aren't...

If you definitely need to keep the original, only thing I can suggest is to use imaging software to make a digital copy. Needs a lotta photos though depending how accurate you need the copy to be. I'...
