Group: Forum Members Posts: 6, Visits: 90	Hi I am wanting to create a mould from an item. See picture. This is a small sculpture, which is mounted to a front mudguard I created from the mould on the second picture. I know I want to make the new mould in 2 pieces to allow creation of the shape and also allow release. Any thoughts on the best areas to section this off to create the 2 halves? I have been asked to make a mould with an addition. I pretty much know how I want shape it, but thought I would do the bright thing and ask for any other opinions. Best regards

Best regards I currently own a p200e and have had a couple of px's before trying to get the lambretta on the road this year too! Is it a light fitting you are adding? I cant make out exactly what it is? But as Hanaldo says right down the middle would be best as long as you dont have any undercuts on the new shape you have added.

I have one or two in the garage. :-) The fixture is actually structural......its an odd shape....I am making a couple for a local artist...... I have moulds for most Lambretta GP bodywork...a few vespa ones too.... I was aiming to go straight down the middle but wanted to canvas a bit of opinion.... Once its done I will post the pics.
