Hi All,
I have been building race fairings for a motorcycle using standard carbon sheets and epoxy resin...and even using vacuum, I find it tricky to get something perfect, as it's a bit tough to get the carbon sheets properly stuck to all edges and curves. So I wanted to give a shot to pre-preg, as it seems it would solve the whole thing.
So my questions are simple:
1) When you are used with wet system, vacuum, etc...is pre-preg much harder ? I have access to a proper oven. Or is it in fact easier ? 2) For race fairings, how many layers and of what type of pre-preg would you use ?
Thanks !
