Hi all,
I'm new to working with carbon, normally just fiberglass.
I've made a bit of a mess trying to make a CF part in polyester gelcoat and fiberglass mould as resin would stick like mad.
If I use epoxy gelcoat for mould, can I use fiberglass on the back? I've read that only certain type of fiberglass works with epoxy.
What is best to use if normal fiberglass doesn't work?

You can use woven fibreglass or powder bound chop strand mat, it's only regular chop strand mat that doesn't work with epoxy.
