Hi guys,
as I promised in my presentation topic, here you can see some of my recent the work:
- Mirror cover for Alfa Romeo Giulietta. This is my car, so I can use this to test materials and techniques
- Ducati multistrada tank cover and rear wheel fender: some works for a friend of mine. The construction of the mold for the tank cover was quite tricky
- engine cover for a focus RS: high temperature resin infusion and oven curing. This was a test for temperature resistance of the resin and the 3d printed spacers: after 1 year of track days he has no problems
- backrest for wheelchair: he needed something to support the back, which was durable but also flexible, so I made this carbon sheet. The black plastic supports are 3d printed.
that's all for now

Gear knobs can be a strange thing, same as steering wheels, as people have funny preferences because of their tactile nature. However a simple smooth shape is generally reasonably popular and simple....

yes, 3d printing is perfect for these things because it allows great flexibility in the design and it is reasonable cheap. The problem is the strength of the printed parts: for this king of...
