As mentioned above, some spray tack misted over the cut line. An Olfa roller cutter is also very useful for making clean cuts

Spray glue the back, let it dry and you should be able to cut it perfect

But when I peel the tape off will.

put masking tape on the edges and use a pizza cutter or really good shears
