The instructions for mixing the primer are to use 2% MEKP catalyst, the scales give weight in grams and mixing 75g of primer would require the scales to be accurate to half a gram to measure 1.5g. Is the percentage critical or would 2 grams be OK.
I thought the Catalyst bottle was the answer but it measures ml not grams so how much does 1ml of MEKP weigh?
Am I being confused or am I missing a trick?
I do not want to mix large amounts as I am making Brake cooling ducts for my race car and they are not big like a car hood/bonnet.

I usually go with the % as mls and I think that is the norm.
100g resin at 1% is 1ml.
If you are still worried about measurement of the catalyst then a small 5ml syringe can be more accurate than the regular catalyst dispensers.

MEKP is so close to 1:1 that it is negligible, you can interchange weight for volume. So if you measured your resin by weight, it's no problem to measure your catalyst by volume.
Just be wary of using syringes for measuring catalyst. The catalyst can actually break down the rubber stopper and then contaminate your resin, causing all sorts of issues. It generally isn't a problem, but just something to be aware of. Better to use plastic pipettes for measuring small amounts.

Thanks for that I will try to finish them today as we have a dyno test Thursday and the ducts fit behind the wheel bearings.
