new member looking to make car body panels

Group: Forum Members Posts: 3, Visits: 268	Hi, my name's Olly, I am new to the composites world, I have watched the easy composites video on how to make a car bonnet and thought that I would like to have a go! I have purchased everything necessary to make moulds of parts but I would be interested to know how people go about making theirs? Has anyone got any time-saving or general tips before I get started? What should I start with? I am intending to make boot, doors, bonnet, wings, roof and rear window blanks. I was thinking making the rear window blanks would be the easiest to start on, does anyone have any advice or tips that may help me on my first mould? I am very grateful for any tips or sending me any links to previous threads that may help me get started. Cheers.
