Hello there I have a quick question on surface finish of the top layer.

I've been infusing for a week or so and I'm happy with the results so far. Getting a very good glossy bubble free surface on one side but the other side where the peel ply and infusion mesh is seems to Show the pattern from the infusion mesh. I'm not looking for perfection here but I would prefer a flatter more even finish. Is there something I can do for this?

I'm making 4mm thick carbon so this may be why its imprinting.

I assume what you mean is that you get the infusion mesh printing through the peelply?

Just use an extra layer of peelply under the infusion mesh ..It will use a bit more (wasted) resin, but should stop print-through from the infusion mesh.

I get all sorts of "print" on the reverse side of my infusions, from the creases in the peelply, creases and folds in the vacuum bag, but usually they are removed with the peelply.

If i want a good finish on the reverse side i usually use two layers of peel ply and sand it down, then coat with epoxy or clearcoat.
