Yes, getting the main vacuum chamber to hold and vac, seems to be my issues I have had. I am in the process of still figuring out to make it work, Almost there. I have a friend who has 20yrs. under his belt in the aerospace industry who has shown a multitude of tips and tricks. They have changed the game for me and production turn out. I just have to rework somethings to fully implement all that he has shared with me. My original plan had I stayed with it would have worked but it would cost me so much more money, now I can maximize my dollars, time etc...so in the process making new molds...

Have any of you used the Smooth-On method of making a reusable silicone vacuum bag?
Thanks

yes you can infuse anything if the viscosity of the resin and permeability of the material is calculated. We do lots of weird and wonderful infusions at work but I cant share that info on here.

Can you use silicone bags to infuse carbon fiber twill. I have only seen infusion of glass matte.

Well guys, I would really like to see you make a video on the ins and outs of reusable silicone vacuum bags.
I sense that for making many simple parts this is the way to go. Painfully little on the web on how to make them.
I have looked at all of the Smooth-on videos. They leave out how you would infuse carbon fiber cloth or twill. They do infuse chop matt without a flow media. How would you do carbon fiber twill? Have any of you other guys had any professional experience using this method for high volumes of parts?
Thanks
